Is community insurance compulsory?
Yes. The Spanish Horizontal Property Act requires insurance covering at least liability and building damage. Some regions (such as Valencia) have additional requirements. Securme ensures exact legal compliance for each territory.
What minimum coverage does Securme recommend?
Building damage (water, fire, electrical), liability with sum insured appropriate to building size, 24/7 assistance, legal defence and vandalism damage. Recommended optional: ten-year insurance, director cover and specific pool or lift coverage.
How much can I save by switching to Securme?
Average savings range between 15% and 30% of annual premium, maintaining or improving coverage. Depends on contract age and aggregate volume negotiated by the Group. After the study we tell you with numbers — if there’s no saving, we don’t ask you to switch.
How are claims handled by Securme?
Open via app, web or 24/7 phone. A dedicated manager coordinates with the insurer, surveyor and repair provider. You just sign the settlement. No triangular coordination or dead time.

Yes. Securme operates as an independent broker and insures communities managed by third parties, individual owners and large property holders. Terms negotiated by the Group are available equally.
