About us · History

One idea, sixty years.

Mediterráneo was born in Benidorm in 1964. The first community that trusted us is still a client today. What has changed in between is told below.

1964 · Benidorm

The service was born within the Savings Bank of the Southeast to manage the administration of communities on a rapidly growing Costa Blanca. Tourism, foreign property owners, new buildings every week. Professional administration was needed — one capable of operating in several languages and cultures.

The Ramsa Building in Benidorm was the first community to trust the service. It has been managed by Mediterráneo for six decades.

Milestones

1990 · Proprietary software

Pioneers in the sector to computerise community accounting. Automatic coding of bank movements eliminates human error in data handling. The underlying idea: so the property manager dedicates their time to people, not paperwork.

2010 · Strategic investor

A new shareholder enters, driving the professionalisation of the structure, investment in technology and the addition of specialised professionals in each service line. Mediterráneo becomes a public limited company with audited accounts deposited in the Mercantile Registry.

2013 · Madrid and the President’s Manual

Expansion to Madrid through the acquisition of Administración Madrileña de Fincas and Afinco. Publication of the President’s Manual, a free guide for community presidents that has since been distributed to thousands.

2015 · First app in the sector

Launch of the Mediterráneo mobile app. Allows users to check balance, view minutes, pay invoices and report incidents from their phone. Today it has more than ten thousand downloads.

2017 · Miserv

After years working with more than four thousand suppliers, Miserv was born: a platform connecting service professionals with property owners and communities. Today it is a flagship brand of the Group.

2018 · Mediterráneo Homes

Diversification into property services. Mediterráneo Homes operates with its own network for sales, lettings and property advisory.

2022 · Corpfin Capital

Corpfin Capital enters as principal shareholder. Strategic plan to consolidate the Group as a sector leader and integrate independent practices.

2024 · Sixty years

Forty offices, more than one hundred and sixty professionals, thousands of communities. And the Ramsa Building in Benidorm, the first community that chose our services, is still managed by Mediterráneo.
