About us · Purpose

Why we do what we do.

The 75 % of Spanish families live in a homeowners’ association. Their home is the main investment of their lives. Looking after it well is our only mission.

Manifesto

Mediterráneo was born in Benidorm in 1964 with a simple idea: that a residential building could be managed with the same professionalism as a business.

Sixty years later, the idea remains the same. What has changed is the scale — forty offices, more than one hundred and sixty professionals, thousands of communities — and the processes: proprietary software, daily bank reconciliation, legally valid virtual meetings.

What does not change is how we measure success: the community president can sleep soundly, and any property owner can see their accounts clearly from their phone any day of the year.

Four principles

They are not corporate values. They are the four lenses through which we make decisions every day.

Experience

The species that survive are not the strongest, nor the fastest, nor the most intelligent, but those that adapt best to change.

Attributed to Charles Darwin

Sixty years cannot be sustained without reinventing yourself. Each decade we have rethought how we manage properties: from the ledger book to proprietary software, from the office to the app, from postal payments to daily online banking.

Quality

The quality of a product or service is not what you put into it, but what the customer gets from it.

Peter Drucker

For us, quality has two concrete metrics: the president sleeps soundly between meetings, and any property owner can see their accounts clearly from their phone without having to call anyone.

Innovation

Innovation is not a matter of money, it is a matter of people.

Steve Jobs

Proprietary software since 1990. First app in the sector. Pioneers in legally valid virtual meetings. The innovation that counts is not what wins awards: it is what the owner notices when they check their balance at eleven o’clock at night.

Commitment

We operate as a public limited company, with audited accounts deposited in the Mercantile Registry. It is the most demanding legal structure in the sector.

Sustainability Policy, Quality Policy, Anti-Corruption Policy and Code of Ethics. Four public documents that anyone can read and, above all, hold us accountable to.
