1964

The Property Management Service is born

The foreign property management service is established in Benidorm to address the administration of property communities by the Southeast Savings Bank. The rapid growth in tourism and the increase in foreign residents necessitate a specialized service capable of assisting in different languages.

1976

The office network is consolidated

Se consolida la red de oficinas

The Southeast Savings Bank is renamed as the Savings Bank of Alicante and Murcia, being the only institution maintaining a consolidated property management service with an extended office network in Alicante, Playa de San Juan, Benidorm, Arenales del Sol, Calpe, Jávea, Dénia, Cartagena, and La Manga del Mar Menor. These offices have either remained or merged with others subsequently.

From internal service to company

The Foreign Property Management Service of the Savings Bank of the Mediterranean, formerly known as the Savings Bank of Alicante and Murcia, becomes Mediterráneo, Real Estate Management Services Ltd (MSGI), with offices in the provinces of Alicante and Murcia.

First software for property management

The organization as a company leads to the creation of the first comprehensive software applied to community management, designed and developed by the internal IT department with experience in managing thousands of properties. Mediterráneo continues its policy and history of technological innovation since it was, in past decades, the first entity in the sector to implement banking aggregations.

Evolution and grow

The company expands its areas of business, from property community management to payroll management, social security contributions, accounting, and insurance brokerage. New offices are opened, and professionals from different nationalities are recruited.

New investor

Significant changes occur in the company’s structure and objectives with the entry of Next Capital. A strong investment in technology facilitates the development of different service lines. The company changes its name to Mediterráneo Integrated Management Services Ltd.

2013

Expansion in Madrid and President's Manual

Expansion in Madrid and President's Manual

In Madrid, two major property management companies, AFM and Afinco, are incorporated, marking Mediterráneo’s expansion beyond its original area. The same year, the President’s Manual is published, an original publication that guides those who hold the position in property communities, starting its presentation in several cities.

The creation of Mediterráneo’s first app for its managed properties and individuals introduces a novel and agile model of direct communication, management, access to documents, and the possibility of fee payment through the mobile phone in the sector

After accumulating experience working with over 4,000 providers, Mediterráneo launches a digital platform to connect service professionals with individuals and companies in need of services for their properties.

Expansion of the group with Mediterráneo Homes

Mediterráneo Homes is born to offer advice and real estate buying and selling services. They have all kinds of properties, both new construction and second-hand.

Incorporation of the insurance area: SecurME

A insurance brokerage is established, enhancing the management and service offering of the Mediterráneo Group. With expertise in the sector, advice is provided on various insurance policies from major companies, seeking a balance between coverage, prices, and guarantees.

2022

Entry of the Spanish fund Corpfin Capital

With the incorporation of Corpfin Capital, a leading entity in the private equity sector in Spain, as the main shareholder of Mediterráneo, the new strategic plan focuses on consolidating the Group and enhancing the property management service through the integration of experienced professionals.

60 aniversario

The sixtieth anniversary

The sixtieth anniversary of the creation of the Property Management Service of the Southeast Savings Bank is celebrated, now in an environment of great growth and expansion of the company, which among its advantages highlights the demonstrated sustainability with its professional presence. Sixty years later, the Ramsa Building in Benidorm, the first to choose our services, continues to be managed by Mediterráneo.
